Mission Adrift - Chapter 11
The black haze that shrouded him should’ve come as a surprise, should have made his knees weak and stomach churn. But instead he remained trapped in the familiar dark cloud of magic as it took him unwillingly from the abandoned warehouse to the next location.
Once it had subsided and the cloud mist dissipated around him, he only remained slightly disorientated as he tried to ease his spinning head which now was fuming with anger, anger directed at the individual he knew had so rudely interrupted and summoned him. He spun around, eyes darting over what appeared to be the backroom reserved for him in the tavern, for the golden-eyed imp.
